I was tasked with an animation opener for Night Night, a book reading platform for kids, specifically Black kids.

Character animation was an important part of the piece, as we have a wide selection of characters that includes human rowers, birds, and marine animals. Extensive research was done to ensure that the movements of these characters were captured accuratedly. I used rigging for most of the characters except for the bord which was animated frame by frame. Accents such as the changing colors of the sky, volcano explosions visual effects were also used to elevate the dynamism and spectacle of these vibrant scenes.
